RUPERT UNITED METHODIST MEN SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

This complete application with attached resume and essay must be returned to the Rupert United Methodist Men, 605 H Street, P.O. Box 804, Rupert, Idaho. The application must be returned no later than 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2021.
One or more $500 scholarship will be awarded. Application forms are available to members of the Rupert United Methodist Church planning to attend post-secondary education or currently enrolled as a full-time student.
Final decision will be made at the May meeting of United Methodist Men. The scholarship recipient will be announced on graduation Sunday in May. Applicants will be rated based on their responses to the application and attached essay in the following areas: church membership, financial need, personal student goals and church activity.
Distribution of Funds: The check made out to the recipient and the college or institution of higher learning will be given to the recipient approximately two weeks before the beginning of the school year.

The number and amount of Scholarships awarded will be decided by the Foundation Board based on the funds available.
Scholarships will be awarded for a minimum of $1,000.00.
This completed application with any attachments and your essay must be returned to RUMC office, 605 H Street, P.O. Box 804, Rupert, ID, no later than 2:00 p.m. the first Monday in April: Monday April 5, 2021.
